What Are the Benefits of Mindfulness? A Practice Review of Psychotherapy-Related Research

This article investigates the preaching of the benefits of current literature on mindfulness by first analyzing the history of mindfulness, empirically supported benefits of mindfulness, effects on therapists, and future implications of mindfulness. The article recommends increased neurological research on mindfulness and other possible manifestations of mindfulness in daily activity.
